We all have actors and sports figures that we look up to and admire, and most of us assume that they lead lives very different from ours. For the most part that’s probably true, but there does seem to be one thing that many celebrities have in common with us, and that is their love of gambling. As cool as all those guys may be, in my mind they all pale beside Miss Jennifer Tilly, who not only has a World Series of Poker bracelet to her name, but also over $600,000 in live tournament winnings; score one for the ladies.

It’s not just actors and actresses that love to play, there are also a host of big name sports stars that have been known to have a go at the casino. Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, two former NBA greats, love to play big and win big too, and golfer John Daly can be seen trying his luck at the slots on a regular basis. English soccer star Wayne Rooney is another one that has been spotted in and around a number of the big European casinos, and his boss Sir Alex Ferguson is the owner of a few big money racehorses.
