For me, any list of great gambling destinations has to begin in the country I made my home for a number of years. Canada is fast becoming a great gambling destination with over 50 casinos now dotted across the country. My own personal favourite destinations are Halifax and Calgary, but you can’t really go wrong wherever you choose to land in Canada.

If it’s high-class, high-stakes gambling that floats your boat, then a trip to Monte Carlo might very well be in order. The playground of the rich and famous is also home to some of the most incredible looking casinos in the world, with many of them looking more like royal palaces than gambling dens.

Australia is another country where gambling has become incredibly popular, and with more than 400 casinos and racetracks spread out across the country, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find an Aussie destination that has a little bit of everything for the discerning gambler.

You can’t talk about gambling destinations without talking about Las Vegas, and with new hotels and casinos popping up every couple of years, each visit to that beautiful city of lights ends up feeling a little new everytime. While Vegas is without a doubt the most famous US gambling destination, it doesn’t mean it’s the only one. It’s not everybody who yearns for the lights in the desert; there are those who would rather tread the boardwalk of Atlantic City and try their luck there. And then there are those who like it even more laid back, with a riverboat casino trip down the Mississippi high on the list of the weary travelling gambler.

I’d love to try all those destinations at some point in my life, but until then I am just happy to know that I can play all my favourite games in the comfort of my own home by simply logging in to my Vegas Palms betting account.
